EES employees like to play as hard as we work! A couple of us wanted to experience life in the fast lane, so we took a trip to Dover motor Speedway for a Nascar experience.

Engineered Energy Solutions (EES) merges operations with Integrated Control Solutions (ICS) to drive excellence and client support in the design, engineering and installation of energy efficient automation and control systems for the commercial building and transportation sectors.

On September 11, 2001, EES lost a good client. We had the control system on the central chilled water plant at the World Trade Center. EES was scheduled for service at the site that day, but was postponed due to a hang-up on the purchase order, fortunately our visit was re-scheduled, to never. We knew many of the operators, some of whom stayed at their posts when the building went down.

The Engineered Energy Solutions executive and marketing teams will attend the 2023 CSIA Executive Conference May 15-19, 2023 in New Orleans, Louisiana.  In addition to the educational component of the conference, EES looks to make new connections and continue its successful partnerships with other control system integrators.

I guess the old saying “what goes around, comes around” if you wait long enough, is true in the controls industry as well. We had for many years, a large telecommunications client for whom we had installed PLC-based building controls in the late eighties. The client was forward thinking in regards to the energy consumed by their 2.2 million square-foot R&D facility. Having the innovative corporate culture that fueled hundreds of patents per year, they recognized the rewards we were offering with our new (at the time) PLC-based energy control system. Back in the day, no one was applying PLCs to central utility plants and major air handling systems like we were and after a review of the numbers, they took a chance. After completing the installation, we saved them $500,000 per year with a return on investment in under two years.  When the project ultimately lead to the client winning an award from the State of New Jersey for energy management, we had a client for life.
